Rep. Robert Hurt, R-5th District, was endorsed for re-election Thursday by the National Federation of Independent Business, a small-business association with 1,386 members in the district.
NFIB President Lisa Goeas said Hurt “is committed to doing big things for small business.”
The group’s political action committee said the endorsement is based on Hurt’s positions on issues including health care, taxes, labor and regulatory matters.
